Will Walton was born in North Carolina and grew up on a horse farm in a rural town. He has always had a passion for writing, designing, and dreaming up new and creative ideas, and learning as much as possible.

Will attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for a year before joining the U.S. Army in 2009 as a Human Intelligence Collector. He was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. While he was deployed he discovered his passion for advertising and communications.

In July of 2013, Will was honorably discharged and moved to Chicago to continue his education. Will graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago in December of 2016 and is working on his first novel. In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels, exercising, spending time with friends, playing video games, and taking landscape photos.

Will currently works at Wavemaker as a senior associate on the U.S. Census media planning team. He recently helped found a Veterans’ Employee Resource Group.
